Acta
Annelies Senfter

The exhibition ACTA by Annelies Senfter at the Neue Galerie presents the work series Protokoll des Schweigens (Protocol of Silence), which is dedicated to those who helped refugees and the victims during the time of National Socialism in East Tyrol. The focus is on both the collective memory as well as the silence of a community. In her artistic practice, Senfter carefully places the past in a new context in order to promote a respectful coexistence in the present and to pave the way for a future way of remembering.
