Revolution – Natur
Othmar Eder

curatorial support: Bettina Siegele

Othmar Eder’s artistic practice is characterised by reduction, fragmentation and rhythm. His drawings move within the tension between political protest and subjective perceptions of nature, subtly and poetically addressing social realities in a state of flux. His drawing practice takes as its starting point images of socio-political events, which, as part of a shared and changing reality, enter into dialogue with representations of nature in his works. Traces across the landscape speak of past interventions and traumas, as well as of processes of gradual disappearance. The exhibition Revolution – Nature is part of the annual programme Under Pressure, curated by Bettina Siegele.
